Crazy Crow non iron "Iron" cookware?

If rubbing alcohol removed it, try some acetone. It dissolves almost anything except polypropylene. Anything already baked-on will probably require steel wool or a hotter fire.

    Chestnut?

When I was a little boy, my Dad was crazy about log cabins. He first retired at age 54 and bought a place in the Smoky Mountains that bordered the Park. He found a cabin in the Gap, moved it, and he and Mom restored it. It was supposedly built by a man who died in 1782, and was made with...

SOLD 18th C. Brown Linen Breeches

I will take them if still available. If not, I'll be first in line behind PathfinderNC.

A couple of rifles that need some love

I would give Google a workout looking for a parts diagram, owners manual and parts list. Done it before with other brands.

    SOLD RUGER OLD ARMY $660.00

I'd jump on this except that I bought a second one recently. I'm out of trigger fingers.

    ROA and Mag Spark

As good a deal as you are likely to find. Buying 1000 shipped they cost $19.09 per hundred + tax. Local pick up is $15.20 per hundred + tax, saving ~$40 hazmat and shipping.

    Panther hunters tent ( Pyramid)

I used to curse the single pole setup even in a 12' because it got in the way sometimes. I now need it to help get out of bed since I got old and decrepit. At raindezvous I stay dry and warm with a candle lantern or two and read or craft and listen to folks gripe as they slosh by the lodge in...

Cleaning using compressed air in cans

I had a HF cheap pancake compressor. Used it once and returned it. Had to be 100 decibels, maybe more. I now have a small Craftsman cast iron compressor that is fairly quiet and luggable.

    Panther hunters tent ( Pyramid)

Panther has gone under. 7x7 is tight for a 6' tall person. 10x10 is comfy with outside poles. 12x12 is luxury even with one pole, which is what we've had for over 30 years.

SOLD CVA Mountain Rifle LOCK and STOCK

Shame that I need the older style. The damage to the toe on your stock can be easily covered with a toe plate. I put one on mine when I built it. Very easy to do. Good luck! Excellent price.

SOLD CVA Mountain Rifle LOCK and STOCK

I cannot tell from the picture. Is the inlet for the 2-screw cap box or the older 4-screw cap box?

How is this sear toe in your opinion?

Sure wish at least one of you people who know what you are doing would make a DVD of how to build a Siler kit for us unenlightened 10 thumbed wanna-be's. Don't spend a lot of time editing. Make it like Bill Raby does...long and detailed with every trick he can show somewhere on the disk.

    Black powder on smokeless ranges

Years ago Houston built a huge trap/skeet/clays/pistol and rifle (to 1000 meters) complex in hopes of hosting the Olympics. I shoot there on occasion. Caplock rifles draw attention and questions. Flintlocks draw a LOT of attention. Only problem I've ever had came from some moron who wanted...
