Fresh from the bench! I’ll let the pictures do most of the talking. This is a brand new rifle. Only test fired 5 times. There was a small section of the toe missing so I added a filler piece. It’s less than 1/8” thick. Price $1500.00 shipped conus. Thanks!!

    Flint Leather, Side Fit

The great thing about this thread that I see is that there are a whole bunch of right ways of doing something. If it works for you, good on you!

    Flint Leather, Side Fit

Your new rifle will be happy with both 7/8” and 3/4” and will shoot them long past the time you think they are worn out. I’ll put a few of each in the crate when I ship it to you!!! I learned that a little excess leather on the top of the flint will protect it from fracture in case the...

SOLD Kibler Woodsrunner, Cherry stocked 45 caliber

This is a brand new gun. I have shot it 5 times only for test purposes. I’m still warming up to stains and finish for cherry and after much toning, scrubbing, and layering have come up with this color. I did a very small amount of distressing to the stock and it has a nice worn in and...

SOLD Kibler Carved Woodsrunner 45 caliber with Rice Set Trigger

The way I install and tune this trigger will allow you to cock in both positions without setting the trigger. It’s likely that I would never want to sell a rifle that won’t work this way. I do this with safety as the paramount.

SOLD Kibler Carved Woodsrunner 45 caliber with Rice Set Trigger

My routine: half cock, prime, full cock, set the trigger, shoot. This seems to be the safest sequence.

SOLD Kibler Carved Woodsrunner 45 caliber with Rice Set Trigger

Demand is the reason for the set trigger. A lot of people are used to the set trigger. I have this one set up to go into any lock position without setting the trigger.

SOLD Kibler Carved Woodsrunner 45 caliber with Rice Set Trigger

Buckridge Flintlocks sells the trigger. The trigger is called the Cain trigger. I have installed 5 of these. It’s a 4 hour job. Shipping both ways could get pricey. Any gunmaker with experience can do the work. The lock is Kibler’s work.

SOLD Kibler Carved Woodsrunner 45 caliber with Rice Set Trigger

You read that right! This one has a set trigger. The rifle will cock in any trigger position. The trigger is a $100.00 upgrade and only installed by a qualified gunsmith. The rifle has a better than base grade of curly maple. Certainly not the extra fancy grade. It shows strong figure until just...

Shooting Undersized Round balls into paper targets.....?? Accuracy?

No marksmanship, very little respect to the weapon or its place in our history. I quit watching this stuff because it is sensational garbage. These are firearms and should be treated with respect and great care with ultimate safety in mind and not for seeking what whacky stunt that I can come up...
