The Belgian maker of the Centaures, Fabriques Unies d' Armes de Liège (F.A.U.L.) started their making in fall of 1959.
This #205 is a Regular New Model Army (RNMA) from that year.
A beautiful piece.
F.A.U.L. produced five basic models of the Centaure: the RNMAs (from 1959 to 1973), Civilians (1960 to 1963), Cavalry (late in 1960 to 1963 and another batch in 1871), Pocket Army (ca. 1862, special order only, the rarest of the models), Marshal (1871 to 1973).

These are the only 1860 army's made of modern heat treated modern gun steel.

I also accept offers so don't be afraid to throw one out.

This is the best feeling 1860 I've ever handled in my life .
Bar none hands down.
Assembles and disassembles like a dream

Have you contacted the Friends of the Centaure Society? They would really like to get serial numbers and descriptions of these guns. Very nice piece in really great condition.
