Anyone have any experience using microfiber towels in firearm maintenance?
Use with oils? Greases? Waxes? Solvents? Cleaning fluids?
I use them after cleaning, usually with ballistol. I don’t use them on anything dirty or greasy because I run them in the wash. I like them much better than plain old terry cloth rags which is what I use for the heavy stuff. When I cut up old shirts for cleaning patches I always cut a bunch of 4” squares or so for lubricating and wiping. Then toss em once they are nasty.
