Shogun 2024: Tanegashima!

I was watching Shogun and there was a rare appearance of a matchlock in film, with Japanese troops armed with Tanegashimas!

It almost counterbalances the horrendously anachronistic flintlock pistols in the episode...

Tob, do you think they might be CGI creatures?

I doubt it. It seems like all the sets are majority CGI but the actual people and props look decent. For some reason, the screencap is a weirdly low resolution.

The next episode is supposed to have the main character training the Japanese with European guns, so that will be the true test of their props/cgi.

The newest episode has the same soldiers with Tanegashimas and they definitely look like physical props and not cgi.
