I turn my temp knob up or down until my cast bullets come out looking good then I cast more bullets. I will change the knob position when I add more lead or the pot gets low on lead - I don't need a thermometer. You just get fixated on that thermometer and it just slows you down. Are you casting bullets or just want to watch the thermometer? :dunno: :ghostly::horseback:
 
I've always thought it was gold and I've been saving mine for a number of years. I'm hoping to collect enought to make my own Krugerrand.
