First RondyVoo'd at the 2nd Eastern, Nancy Hanks' in WVA in 1979. Went as a typical newbie "mountain man", fresh skins, whiter than white canvass, carried a brand new kit T/C Hawken. Got the name Bouncer from a homemade cherry cordial that I carried everywhere in a little brown jug. Over the years due to study of the area history, I developed the F & I era long hunter persona that has been my alter ego for the past 20 years. Still camp once a year in a "walk in", breech clout, hunt'g shirt, frock, pouch, with either a flint smoothbore or .40 cal flinter both made by myself.<br />
