I live in Key West, FL. Among my job responsibilities is caring for Fort Taylor, a Civil War-era fortress, a National Historical Landmark, the seacoast artillery contained within the fort. I am state certified in black powder weaponry. We have at our disposal a 3-inch Iron Rifle, siege mortar and a replica rev-war cannon to fire. Plus, muskets and pistols are at our disposal. I command our CW Reenactment artillery group, Battery B, 1st U.S. Artillery.
