Have been a hunter and outdoorsman for most of my life. Been an active muzzleloader since 1970. Myself and several others started the "Low-Country Bark Busters" in Beaufort,SC. Great time and fine people, shooting every week-end and dinner on the ground on Sunday. Met Mr. Jerome Wilson of Allendale, SC one of the premier rifle builders in the United States. Spent many happy hours at his shop playing music as he built rifles and such. Transfered to North Carolina where I joined the Swamp Fox Muzzle loading club. The president was "The Ole Swamp fox himself" Mr. Travis Meadows. Great Knife maker and shooter. Retired in 1984 and kept up with the sport and am still shooting and playing music..I have 3 rock locks and 2 Pill box rifles. I just traded for a Sharon Hawken..In my area, almost all shooters are cartridge men but I'm sure that fad will soon peter out and the real riflemen will get the last laugh. Make all my own plunder and some clothing. Mountain Man mostly..
