I've always been exposed to guns and hunting, fishing, and fur trapping from a young age. Served in the Army, beginning as a full-time cadet in college. Grew up in SE Va. where our country originally began (not Massachusetts). Williamsburg is right across the James River from us! Reenacted WBTS as a late-teen, early twenties with my first BP gun, a Zoli .58 Zouave. Once I had a family, got re-involved when we heard of Rendezvous locally, so acquired our kit, then tent, and now our boys are eaten-up with Rondy fever. We have our used BP .50s and pistols, and are trying to master those along with bow, hawk, and knife skills. We collect cast iron, and love the irons to cook on at home and in the field. We live on our farm as old-fashioned as possible, and homeschool.
