I've been shooting muzzle loaders for about 16 years now. For many years I only shot cannon with The First Litchfield Artillery Regiment and the AAA. My motto was "if I can't put my hand down the bore, it's not worth shooting" But I've mellowed out some over the years. I built myself a mortar and also compete with that now. I'm also a member of the Sons of The American Revolution and belong to the Connecticut Line which is a reenactment/color guard unit of the SAR. A couple of years ago I built my Brown Bess and am very proud of the way it came out.
