Have been hunting & fishing since I was a kid. If I had to choose between the two I'd have to go with deer hunting. The sudden appearance of a deer while in the woods still elevates my heart rate. (not like it did the first few years though) The long Michigan archery season has always been my favorite season and method of deer hunting. The same reason I am drawn to the muzzleloader I guess. My hunting focus anymore is more on the method of hunting and less on the quantity or score of the game harvested. Favorite food: Venison backstrap on the grill & Canadian northern pike, (Y-bones removed) breaded in "Drakes" and deep fried. Washed down with an ice cold Labatt Blue is always a plus.
