64 year old 'know it all' originally from Sheffield so grew up in the 50's surrounded by ex servicemen from WW2(Dad and friends dads),swap shops full of captured booty,steelworks where stuff was melted down after the amnesties,and cutlery works everywhere.Film theatres were full of war films,cowboys,gangsters,and Robin Hood types and the comics full of war heroes and 'Boys Own' detectives,hence I'm interested in most things that go bang or look shiny.That includes Americana of the 50's (I was an electronics engineer) so I also restore old American Jukeboxes and own a couple of one armed bandits etc. I also like classic british roadsters and own a restored Triumph TR4A. Restoration is my thing,I like to bring things back from junk to working order, mechanical or electrical or both.My main interest in firearms is turn of the century breach loaders.
