At nearly 35, I have been shooting Black Powder for 22 years. I currently own a .50 cal cap lock Hawkins, a .36 Navy pistol, a Rebel replical, of a 12 gauge double barrel calvery gun, and a 12 gauge cap lock single shot. I am a journeyman tool and die maker and want to build my first flint lock this comming year. I'm leaning toward a Chambers kit, but have not yet decided on which one. I live in Garrett Indiana, it's just 15 min north of Fortwayne.
