I began hunting later in life than most. I was in my late 30's living in northern Minnesota...about six miles from Canada. Three great men from my church invited me to hunt deer with them. With a borrowed Remington rifle, I took my first buck on the second day of the season. A lot has changed since then. I am now in my 50's and I hunt deer and elk with my bows and muzzleloaders. I did some shotgun slug hunting for a while as well. I am always looking to learn more about muzzleloading and hope that this forum will help
