I have been shooting muzzleloaders since age 13.(1976) Then progressed to black powder cartridge guns. I reload all my own ammo.My shooting hobby has mainly been centered around military weapons, due to my interest in history. However, I am now more interested in guns such as the sharps sporting models, winchester 1873, and the early flintlock rifles. I have competed in the NSSA, and cowboy action shooting sports. I have done some limited re-inacting, but I find target shooting with live ammo much more satisfying. I have re-loaded ammo for 45-70, 44-40, 43 Egyptian, 45 Colt, 30-40 Krag, 30-30, 30-06, 7.62x54 Russian. I also make paper ctgs for my .54 cal. shiloh sharps military rifle. I also enjoy shooting cap&ball revolvers.
