Born Athens, Texas, 1947. Graduated Athens HS, 1965. East Texas State Univ. 1968, BS-Engineering.<br />
Learned to fly as teenager. Flew in SE Asia 1970-'72. Flew for airlines, 1973-2005. Last position: Captain & Chief Pilot, DHL Airways. Stopped flying due to becoming disabled.<br />

Started shooting muzzleloaders at age 13 and have shot them, on and off as work permitted, ever since. Principal interest is flintlocks, shooting and building. Current projects are a 32 cal. squirrel rifle in Kentucky-Penn. style and a French style flintlock double shotgun in 12ga.<br />

Like to build and experiment. Applied physics guides me in all my pursuits. Physics is my hobby and my passion.
