i've built a few high power rifles from mausers, did all of the work my self except barrel/ chamber work and would now like to build a muzzle loader or two to extend my deer hunting season. i don't care at all for the "modern" in-line type guns, when i think of a muzzle loader i see flintlocks, and long thin stocks with lots of drop....definately traditional architecture. that said, i'm not real educated in the various schools of design and that is not all that important to me as long as the gun i build is styled after the traditional guns. i can sit and look at those all day long.
