I've been deer and turkey hunting for 40+ years, and writing for the Outdoors for about half that. For a while there, I was a pro-staffer. I own a 200 acre farm in SW Bracken County, KY. I am patriarch of Deer Camp.
As far as muzzleloading is concerned, I bought my first front-stuffer in 1984, but I never owned a flintlock until 2022. My first one, a Pedersoli Brown Bess is on its way to me, and that is what brings me to this august forum.
