I love hunting in a more traditional manner. I use a Thompson renegade 54 cal percussion muzzle loader, a Remington model 14 pump in 30remington calibur (my great grandpa's deer rifle - still works great at almost 100 years old, i took a nice spike buck with it last season with open sights at about 65 yards), and a Bear recurve bow (this model is now called a 48 super mag) with a 45 lb draw. I haven't taken a deer with my muzzle loader yet so this season I will be using it exclusively even during modern firearms season.
