I was introduced into Muzzleloading back in 1958 or 59 by my dad. I was like 3 yrs. old. He built muzzleloaders with a gentleman named Richard Hicks in Alburquerque, New Mexico. I wasn't until like 1972 that I built a CVA mountain rifle kit. Haveto never looked back, I did slow down a bit from time to time, with three kids and a Morgage, but hey, it's still in my brain. And I work on some guns and Hunt only with the smoke poles now. Living in Arizona between the Navajo Rez. and the Apache Rez. Makes for a great opportunity to pursue this wonderful way of life.
