I just watched The Legend of Ben Hall on Prime.
I'm having a hard time locating any information on this rifle used by the law... not sure if they are police, army or some kind of constable.

The movie also featured the Tranter Revolving pistol and rifle. That rifle of course does not have a forearm stock like the ones shown here. It probably didn't take them very long to figure out why that hand hold was not a good idea.

I'm assuming it's not just a movie gun, but I can't seem to narrow down my Google searches and the movie did not show up in IMFDB.
I'd like to read about it if it did exist.
