I have for sale a handmade genuine American Bison Powderhorn handmade by me. The large end is dark walnut stained oak. The nails are rustic hand cut and the stopper is handmade pine decorated with the end of the horn. Real glass crow beads adorn the strap as well as some glass trade seed beads on the stopper with a faux sinew string. Large plug end is epoxied and the nails are sealed with beeswax behind them. I wanted to leave as much of the raw horn as possible as to not buff out the cracks and ridges of the natural horn itself. The shiny parts were buffed down with a coat of oil and beeswax mix. I have not filled the horn so I do not know the volume of powder it can hold but is measures 9.5” in diameter around the large end, 3” in diameter around the small end, 16.5” from top to tip along the bottom flat and the horn itself is 12” along the bottom flat. Included with the sale is an obsidian arrowhead (modern knapped) with glass crow beads. I am asking $95 plus $15 shipping to lower 48 U.S.A as is, all sales final. I accept PayPal friends and family, personal check, cash, and USPS money order. Thanks for looking!
