Are the projectiles located and reused? Is it iron? Bowling ball?

The projectiles are usually zinc and they are located and reused.
Awesome. What is the diameter & weight of the projectile?
10-12 inches and I will ballpark the weight between 20-25 lbs I believe. It's not my mortar so I don't know for sure.

Just for the record, a 12" diameter Zinc ball weighs 218 lbs.
They are hollow from what I understand and I have never picked one up. The rounds for my Coehorn are around 5lbs ish and I know they are sand filled
If anyone has not seen a big Coehorn live fired, you are in for a huge treat when you do! And if it is bowling balls they are shooting, the screech of the wind in those three fingerholes sounds like a scream that could only have come from Hades.
