Just getting back into muzzleloaders after about a 20 year break. Used to go to muzzleloader shoots and rendezvous with my dad in Iowa. Moved to Michigan in my late 30's 20 years ago and got distracted with life, family other hobbies, etc. My dad continued with building muzzleloaders, going to shoots and went to many national shoots in Friendship and Phoenix. Sadly he passed away in 2015.
Recently I have gotten back to a couple of muzzleloader projects and started bringing my rifles out of the back of the safe to start shooting again and thinking why did I ever stop doing this, its so much fun! I am primarily a flintlock shooter, but have a couple percussion rifles as well (including my dads .40 long rifle that was his main target gun). Looking forward to participating in some local shoots and conversing with you all here.
