For sale is my 57th horn. Nice border work engravings frame the map horn which features the Powhatan Chiefdom in the Chesapeake Bay area in the 1690's. It's quite finely engraved, and notice the really cool Indian watching over things :) . The horn is a left-side carry, and measures 10" along the bottom curve, 2" wide and 2.5" high, with a simple twisted strap staple. The neck is octagon with double rings and then round at the forward throat. It's very well proportioned and well executed. Asking $400 (shipping free) for this handsome art horn.
Personal Checks or Money Orders accepted.
Thanks for looking!
