Don't know Who made it but it's nothng like a Old Lock. Leaf spring would have normally been used up till 1900.Best Guns Are still made with Leaf Springs Even BERETTA'S AND PURDEY'S
 
Very similar to a Carleton Lock, mostly found on under hammers with th drum mounted on the bottom of the barrel. I've seen them with the trigger guard spring and with internal coil springs. I've only seen two like this and both very recently. the other was also a very high end gun with a cocking lever, beautiful wood, and very nice engraving on the metal parts. someone posted a pic on this forum looking for an ID.
