Rare French pistol with beautifully patterned damascus barrels, hard to find in this well cared for condition.

This belt carry pistol measures 14.25" overall.
Barrels are 8.25" long
Weighs 2 &1/4 lbs.

The fluted & carved walnut stock remains very solid with just minor dings & two almost invisible surface cracks posing no integrity issues.
to have been sealed earlier in life.
Beautiful damascus twist pattern on the barrels & photos show the bores on this .58 cal. 'micro-groove rifled' pistol are dark but retain good rifling & breeches are clear & show no deep corrosion.

Both original nipples remain in excellent shape, are removable, their threads & those in the breeches also remain in excellent condition.
Photos show both locks remain tight as new & function perfect.
Photos show the original owner had both hammer spurs extended to make cocking & firing faster.

I've priced this very rare pistol reasonable at $1,500 firm plus actual cost of USPO Priority shipping & insurance, I prefer USPO money order as payment.
Feel free to contact me with any questions.
Thanks for looking.

Furthur downsizing of my collection.

Parting with very rare & attractive French Officers or Coach pistol with beautifully patterned damascus barrels, hard to find in this well cared for condition.

The fluted & carved walnut stock remains very solid with just minor dings & two almost unseen surface only cracks that pose no issues, appearing
to have been sealed earlier in life.
The bores on this .58 cal. micro-groove rifled pistol are dark but still retain good rifling, a good cleaning should improve.

Both original nipples remain in excellent shape, are removable, their threads & those in the breech also remain in excellent condition.
Both locks remain tight as new & function perfect, appears that the original owner had both hammer spurs
expertly extended to make cocking & firing faster.
I've priced this rare pistol very reasonably at $1,500 firm plus actual cost of USPO Priority shipping & insurance, I prefer USPO money order as payment.

Thanks for looking.

Original nipples & threads in breach remain in great shape !
