So I’ve got this Potzdam musket. I picked it up 20+ years ago. I browned the barrel and refinished the stock at the same time. Anyway, it’s stamped 1824 and then again X1969…. Is it a reproduction or what? I know nothing about the bbl stamps so I’m looking for help from you folks. The bbl is 32” muzzle to bbl tang. Obviously it was cut down? Any and all information is much appreciated. Oh, I did shoot it once way back then with a round ball.
