Thanks! I used arts Belgian blue because my buddy that had the bluing tank has only used that stuff. Therefore, he was able to walk me through the process of how he does it. Start by degreasing parts.. boil in water. Take out and apply Belgian blue using a foam pad then back into boiling water. Repeat that process about 6-8 times. Finish by soaking barrel and parts over night in water soluble oil. Take out wipe off clean bore and put er back together! One thing I did learn — make sure you clean any finish out of your pin holes before putting your barrel pins back inWhy did you use Art's Belgian Blue? How did you apply it? Do you have any lessons learned from your efforts? -- It's $70 a bottle - ugh --
By the way, your stock is truly unique, and you should justifiably be very proud of how it tuned out
