Meet Sgt York. Built as a custom log match rifle several decades ago it lived up to its namesake. Features a 39” .50 cal HATFIELD Barrel with bright shiny bore. its a long 55” oal. Think its 66 twist but forgot. Actually handy offhand as well with good balance. Tuned lock and double set triggers . Walnut (?) stock , brass patch box and mix of steel and brass hardware. Sadly I cannot compete any longer so its up for anew home. Asking $690 plus shipping to wherever still legal in US. Here for a few days then off to GB at a higher prices with all those extra pesky fees and taxes. Full insurance and tracking to your door available. Yes rod is the "unbreakable" type synthetic with threaded brass tip for cleaning jag.

This is the first of the huge Estates collection of black powder rifles, muskets, pistols and parts that will be offered here so stay tuned.

Yes, Very accurate late BIL and I always won a number matches with it. It will be missed.

Its from a formerly gorgeous (now $1600+ ) early Ted Hatfield long rifle that had its stock broken in shipment. It factory 39" long .90" af as made. BIL started it to meet log match requirements and for its inherent accuracy and we both used a couple times in until he passed. I supplied some of the parts including the lock and triggers Hal tuned for me. We both agreed on the York movie look. Not a beauty queen just meant for use. Missing BIL again now thanks.
