With Big Game Season approaching in a few weeks its time to change the barrel on my Tennessee.

By pulling the lock bolt, tang screw and barrel keys.

It is transformed from a Fun Forty to a Ferocious Fifty in just a few minutes.

Next Spring, with the onset of Turkey Season, it will transition once again.

Love that Tiger strip maple stock but wonder why you didn't move up to a .54 cal ? The only trouble I see with a switch barrel gun its loosing a good excuse for another rifle ! She's a good looker !

I thought about a .54 however the .40 and .50 barrels are the same size and I have two other .54's. In addition, I shoot 100 grains of Swiss in the .50 and with that butt contour it is quite an attention getter. A .54 in that design might be pushing the boundaries of pleasant shooting.
