Imagine some grifters, going to the trouble of researching something as specific as "caps and shortages", then setting up a scam sale site for them. They must have nothing useful to do, and are probably peddling all sorts of things as well.

The number of scam site recommendations that get made around here (by people who should know better at this point ) is astounding and is of no help to anyone. If you're going to take the trouble to post sites in an attempt to help others out you should take the responsibility of spending a few minutes doing due diligence by checking out the sites you plan on recommending.

It's not just caps, it's about anything you can think of.

I saw a scam site for taxidermy.

Hello my name is John. I use to be on this forum sometime back. My hotmail went off to the bad side so stayed off. Got back on with Gmail. I always hate someone that will brag about their luck, but last month I stop at a garage sale. The sign said tool sale. He had a table that all different cans of Blackpowder items. Some guy got there first and picked up a flintlock pistol and other things. One milk case was full of Blackpowder things. He had looked through it but wasn't interested in it. I bought for 50 dollars. Among other things was 5 tins of #11 caps one tin was still in the package other looked full. A can of triple f Blackpowder more than 100 45cal. Balls ,3 unopened package of 50cal bullets and the list goes on. The 45 balls would have fit the gun he was buying and the powerd he could of used as well. Never know what you might find at a garage sale. Great to be back on the forum
