I hope your name is not indicative that you were actually bit. I do a lot of fly fishing in Centre County PA and am always on the lookout for rattlesnakes. This year was bad- I easily saw a half dozen of them.
It is. Not rattler though, Copperhead in my youth. The name kinda stuck.
Shot my first deer 37 years ago in Rothrock S.F. I’d like to try my T/C Hawken next year in PA or NJ.
Them copperheads are scary. At least the tattlers let you know they’re there
