I have a friend wanting me to build her a rifle(yes a her I know!). I have a barrel sitting I was thinking of using pending her approval but it’s a flinter with a white lightning liner. Would converting it be as simple as threading in a drum of the same threading or would I have to drill it out entirely? I don’t see why it wouldn’t work but I’d rather not try it if it’s absolutely not going to work. Thanks!

You have to drill it out and tap it. Drums don't come in the same thread sizes as White Lightnings.
