The one I have sat in it's original shipping box since about 1980. The barrel was as pristine and un-touched since the day it left the factory. I assembled it, benefitting from the prep work done by the original owner on the wood stock area. It went together like a breeze; only thing missing was one end-cap screw and the clean-out screw which I got from Deer Creek. ($2!) I paid an pal $100. for it, it was found behind a cabinet in an auction clean-out. Had the original owner's address on the box, in NJ. (Wonder if it went thru an FFL?) No evidence that any removal work was done on the bbl., you can usually see. Guys seem to really like these! Mine came from a shipper in MN or MI, can't recall off-hand. Got lots of tips here about them. Thanks.
