Good work!! You should be proud - I'm with other posters - I'd have had a go at 'de-T/Cing' the bolster/snail but don't stress over it.

Wow! As Pratt mentions, the wood is beautiful and I also like that patchbox. I had no idea that Hawkens came full stocked. Thanks for sharing.

You used the early style trigger guard on your full stock Hawken. Totally appropriate for the rifle. Nice looking rifle.

Thanks for all of the comments fellas! Now that a couple of you have pointed out the clean out screw it does look kind of glaring ha ha. I really wasn’t going for 100% authenticity since like I said I chose to use the Green Mountain TC replacement barrel from the start. I definitely lean toward the Historically Correct school but in this case it is what it is.
Great looking rifle. I've heard there are no documented original Hawken fullstocks. Is that true? What is the barrel length on your's? Love that forest also.
