Ladies and Gentlemen,
For your consideration, one big bore rifle gun. This is a 58 caliber Pennsy style rifle featuring a round face English Style lock with a water proof pan (stamped CC&R on the inside), swamped 44 inch barrel with round bottomed rifling, double set triggers, an a elegant thin wristed curly maple stock. (stock has a few cosmetic blemishes (see pics). LOP is 14 1/2 inches, 44 inch bbl, 59'' OAL. Stock lightly carved, brass mounted, with a silver inlay in on the patch box. Gun Builder is R. McElwee. Barrel has a stainless vent liner. Brass Patch box has light engraving (see pics). Rifle comes with a wooden tompion (barrel stopper) and two Lyman molds. .562 and .575. (handles NOT included). Gun shoot very well, the lock is very fast and makes hot sparks, bore is excellent, and accuracy is better than I can shoot. This is a very well put together rifle. If you are looking for your first big boy rifle or a new elk rifle, this is it. It is surplus to my requirements and that is why I am putting it out to all my friends here.
