Looking for someone who can Cast or Replicate or Locate or Recommend someone that can help me procure a Tiny Pain in My Life calleda Hinged Patch Box Cover/Lid that's shaped like a Conch Shell?
Unfortunately I can't upload a Picture but I finally located the Exactsame Brass Hinged Patch Box Cover on another Firearm's Buttstock!
This is the Link: www.collectorsarmoryca.com
"UnusualBelgian Percussion Blunderbuss with "Duck's Billed Muzzle" in Near Perfect Shape."
In the Picture of the Blunderbuss you can easily see My Object of Desire!
Thank Everyone Kindly!

Sincerely,
Ramiro Guerrero

My friendly Hacker has made the Link direct you to the Home Page but a quick search will take you to the Belgian Duck Billed Blunderbuss!

Looks more like an oyster than a conch.

If you borrow or make a wooden pattern any Yellow brass founder will run you one. if few today like to run yellow brass because of the fumes . bronze they like but its harder to file up use NEW files as used ones wont cut as well . There where a lot of continental guns had the shell like cap boxes .

Is this the one? Unusual to be seen on the left side. Since the gun is percussion (never flint) it probably is a cap box and not a patch box.
Hell Yes! You are All My Absolutely Best New Amigos!
Personally, I don't know S@#t from Shinola about these Toys but I'm learning fast!
Like the difference between a Patch Box and a Powder Box?
Actually, it's obvious!
A "Lost Wax" cast, a 3D printed replica?
Where should I begin? Super detailed pictures and Exact Measurements of the openings on my "Thunder Pipe?"
You Boys are the Best!
Sincerely,
Ramiro Guerrero

Actually it's the closest thing to a "Yellow Cup" sea shell from what I've been able to ascertain!
And as for your Uncontrollable Desires, impeccable taste surely Ain't Cheap!
Neither are the vast majorities of worthwhile hobbies!

Don’t know if this is what you’re looking for exactly, but this is one I have laying around.View attachment 361970
Howdy Amigo,
I just measured the Opening on the Butt Stock for the Powder Box Cover and the Measurements are (3.5)cm Edge To Edge overall. (2.0)cm Center Hole and the Hinge Measures about (.5)cm. The Shell Shaped Cover actually resembles a "Yellow Cup Sea Shell. "
Thank You Very Much! Let' Make a Deal if the Measurements are in line in your opinion.
Be Well,
Ramiro Guerrero

That has no resemblance to a conch shell. You may have saved some time by calling it a clam shell or even just a seashell.
I sincerely apologize, your absolutely correct! It's definitely not a Conch Shell!
Thank You Kindly,
Tejano Libre

Sea scallop shell.
Amigo, I called it absolutely everything under the 7 Seas!
Seashell, Clamshell, Conch Shell, purely out of Desperation!
But eventually you Absolutely Excellent Amigos helped me solve my apparently easy problem!
I did mention that my knowledge concerning these subjects is quite limited!
Be Well and Thank Everyone Most Kindly,
Ramiro Guerrero

It’s measuring in at about 4.4cm x 3.3 x 2.5 with the inclusion of the spring.View attachment 363189View attachment 363190
Thank you kindly Amigo! I didn't measure the "Depth" and your Cover seems to be quite a lot bigger unfortunately. But I think that someone should be able to "Refit" your cover and make it fit in my "Thunderpipe's" powder box/patch box. Question, if Powder Horns were very common at that time, and could obviously hold a lot more Powder than this Box then it just seems logical that these may have been for Patches. However, a handful of Grass or a "Cow-Paddy" would probably work just as well as a Patch. Please correct me if I'm mistaken, it happens occasionally! That's a Joke! * The following measurement is the Depth: (approx. 2.0 cm.)*
Thanks Again Cowboy! By the way, is your Cover made of Brass? Not that it matters!
Be Well,
