These are the "reduced load" cases; they take about 28 grains of FFG black powder. S&S Firearms lists these for $3.50 each, or $2.75 each for quantities over 100. I purchased 100 cases at the discounted price, but I have found that I rarely shoot more than 25-30 rounds on any trip to the range, so I don’t really need 100 cases. I have 50 brand new, never fired cases and 50 once-fired cases. Buyer can take either the new cases or the used cases - I don’t really care which. I’ll keep the other 50 for myself. I’m offering the never fired cases for just what I paid for them, plus a few dollars for shipping. The advantage to the buyer is that you don’t have to buy 100 cases to get the better price. I’ve reduced the price of the used cases and again added a few dollars for shipping. They have been tumbled clean, although a little fouling residue might remain inside some of the used cases. Please see the photos below for examples. (In both photos the used cases are on the left.)
  • 50 unused cases, including shipping: $145.00 (Save over $40.00.)
  • 50 used cases, including shipping: $120.00 (Save over $55.00)
Cases will ship upon receipt of USPS Money Order (Please, no PayPal or personal checks.)

I would like to buy your new cases. I can get a MO tomorrow when the PO opens. Where to send?

While the cases themselves belong to a carbine/rifle that is OK under the terms of the Forum, as it was fielded before 1865, and requires an external cap, ...

You need one ad for the used cases, and one ad for the unused cases, unless you sell them all together for a single price, AND

You need to post a photo of at least one of the cases adjacent to a card or piece of paper having your screen name and the date of the photo. Thanks

LD

Thanks for the clarification. And I simply forgot a card with my name. I'll take care of that right away.

My apologies for any rules violation. Even though it's mostly moot now ("sold pending funds") I've posted a pic with my screen name and date. I would have thought that offering one or the other rather than both would be easier and less confusing in a single posting. But again, I think it's now moot.
