Seems I made a mistake with my prior post and so here is a simple post showing I'm real and own this rifle. Some of the photos were taken before I cleaned it using, CLP breakfree and Murphy's Wood Soap on stock. Once I did that it shined up without doing anything else. I checked and these were never "blued" and this series of 5800 seemed to never be issued and returned to the New Jersey Armory. Which could be why it is such great condition. I also check ones online and they are the same finish as this one.

YES he's real
YES the rifled musket is too,
For some reason that I cannot recall, I completely missed that a previous posting was a history of the rifled musket not an ad. And I completely screwed up that situation..., no excuse

Anyway he's back, he still owns the rifled musket, and figured a public apology was in order, and better than a private one.
