Thanks! I'm working on an inventory, need to look through his bench guns. We just don't want to do anything to them without good advice. I know my dad was very particular on what to use on them, but he just got too old to keep up the maintenance on them. All I know is that he used paste wax and superfine steel wool. "Never use oil" on the outside. I just never thought to write down the specifics of each gun. We're in Saginaw Bay area.
