Not only does it look good, but it will shoot if you do your part. I had to do a sear spring job on it. Now it has a really fine trigger pull. Those big locks have a cast sear spring with a short arm. Really stiff. This one was 2.2lbs. with the cock all the way down. That is with the sear spring pressure and trigger geometry. No mainspring pressure. After I worked on it, the resting trigger pull went to about 8oz. This gave me a trigger pressure at full cock of appox. 3-4lbs. 50yds. benched. The two outliers were me not holding right.

You Alabama boys come across some of the finest rifles, I've ever seen and shooters to boot. In 30 years over here I've only come across one that was a 36 caliber and just as nice, but the seller wanted $2600 for it and wouldn't budge on the price. Just too much for this old poor boy.
