FOR SALE Investarms hawken.54

Older investarms hawken in 54 with the fancy patch box. Thinking this was a kit gun judging by the tang/screws and the barrel not being properly draw filled. 28 inch barrel, im getting 1/2 turn in the length of the barrel. 14.25 length of pull from front trigger to center of butt. Overall it's a pretty nice gun with a bit of interesting grain in the stock. Delrin ram rod thats a bit stiff going in and out. $350.00 shipped.

Not a Lyman, investarms had their own hawken years ago. This one is from 1977 if i recall.

It is the same rifle though, that patchbox is the tell, just not the name.

Not saying it's not but Lyman did have their version as well.

It's identical (patchbox), and smooth lock plate without decorations, to my Investarm Lyman Plains Rifle. Mine came with a 1-48 58 cal and 62/20ga smooth bore barrels. I got mine used in the mid 1980s. I'll have to check the barrels if they are stamped Lyman but I believe they are.

I think Gemmer also had Investarm rifles with that style patchbox and plain loockplate.
