Greetings from the Idaho panhandle! I’ve been lurking for a while and decided it was finally time to pull the trigger and become a member. I’ve only been doing the black powder thing for a about a year now, but I’ve been bit hard by the bug. I now own some five odd flintlocks and nearly as many percussion rifles. I’ve progressed from being a nervous, dry-balling wreck at my first local muzzleloader club shoot to winning the rifle/pistol competition (held once a month) twice in a row.
Below are photos taken from this past weekend in which I took my first muzzleloader buck using a .50 cal Renegade percussion rifle.
I’m looking forward to learning from all of you, sharing my own experiences, and having some great conversations along the way.
