I will give this rifle in nice shape to someone on this forum. I am 45 miles SW of New Orleans, must pick up there, I will NOT ship. In good shape, maple stock with some figure, lock and trigger work fine, Shoots 3 inch 5 shot groups off bench at 50 yds with .440 round ball. Two minor issues - spur on hammer broke off, has been replaced with a piece of hex key, works fine, or buy a new hammer from Numrich. Fancy patchbox latch doesn't work, lid is taped shut. Heavy rifle with 38-in-long 15/16 inch barrel, not a gun to carry thru woods for hours. I have other rifles and will prob never shoot this again, someone may put it back in service. PM me to arrange details.

I have fond memories of Numrich barrels - built my first 'serious' rifle using a 45 Numrich Barrel - US$19.99!! - A NZ$20.00 Postal Note was enough to cover the barrel and shipping to NZ!!(it was over 50 years ago) It shot really well and I shot my first Muzzleloaded Red Deer with it. Later I picked up a Numrich Half-Stock Kit that someone had imported - also 45, I shot this for many years. I did find they could be finicky - maybe the 1 in 56 twist had something to do with it; I'd use another one tomorrow if I was offered one!!
