LEAD SHOT for casting

I'm sure it would be fine. As long as there isn't anything else in the mix.
What sizes are in it? I use some for my shotgun that were given to me. #9, 6 and 4 mix. Never thought of melting them down. I have plenty ingots and bits and pieces of lead.

YEAH 6 and 5 size i just went n melted about a half of pot in the lee furnance..it had alot of dark stuff floating i skimmed away . I made 54 lee real bullets..came out nice.
 
Sell it or trade it for pure lead. Shot usually has at least 5% antimony in it which hardens it up to the point where it usually shrugs off the imprint of the patch. It does work for REAL's, Maxi's and conicals that usually have minimal rifling engagement,

THANK YOU i did a few real bullets after i posted it but have alot more and theres really no one to trade and sel it too

There is a site called Cast Boolits that you could sell your lead shot there. I'm sure there would be guys on there that would snatch it up pretty quickly.

yeah love to but- shipping though wow.. thats why i dont think so.I got this much extra
