I’ll cast up some tonight and take some measurements. The mold is advertised as .410” or 10.42mm. Some rifles have a 10.35mm bore. Theoretically, If the bore size of your rifle is smaller than 10.42mm or .410”, yes this bullet could be sized and lubed to be fired ‘naked’. If you get down to it, it’s just a funny looking minie. My bore size is .413 so I’m probably going to use some greased paper patching and size down to a slip fit in the bore. I believe it needs to be sized down to the point where it seats under the weight of the ramrod.
That's fairly large but from what I've read, federal rifles ranged widely on bore diameter. What charge do you plan on using? 60g of 1.5f swiss got me in a good spot. Orginal podwer was about 1fg
Do you shoot rifles in .446? I have 15 different rifles in 11mm.

Just one. A Gewehr 71. I hadn't thought of it, but those rcbs minies might shoot decent out of it.
M71 mauser requires a soft lead paper patched slug. .439 patched to .446. Smooth sided or grooved, doesn't matter.
