I have reduced the length of pre used flints before and removed humps with a Dremel tool.
Dust & eye protection should be usedā€¦.šŸ˜Ž
What type of bit did you use in you Dremel. I ordered some English Flints 7/8"x1" but they were up to 1 1/8" plus humps.
I tried different stones and cutting wheels, nothing worked. I figure a diamond something.
Thanks.

Without having to do any knapping, I've used a sharpening stone to do some minor size adjustments on the tops, sides and backs of flints. Anything less than another stone or a diamond abrasion tool and you're likely to just ruin the tool without touching the flint.

I used the green stones that came with the Dremel..
Lightly or they will breakā€¦
A diamond knife hone will work also, just takes longer.
