I recently picked up a batch of revolvers. One is a Uberti made 1851 Navy, 36 caliber, marked Primitive Arms, Branson, MO. Italian date code stamp is AT, so 1988. I've never heard of this importer. Anyone know how long Primitive Arms was in business?

Searching online, it looks like it was a retail business that closed about 1990 or so.
Thanks, then it looks like they were only an importer for a couple years. Collecting examples of revolvers from various importers over the years would be an interesting hoppy in itself'.
I just ran across a couple plastic “tins” of Primitive Arms pistol caps this evening. It was in my uncles things. I would have expected them to be mid 90s.
